Software Engineer
The successful applicant will become a member of the software development team in EMGS. The Software Engineer’s main focus will be to deliver valuable features and working software to the end users.
Most of the software used for processing and quality control of EM data in EMGS is developed and maintained in-house. This ranges from software used in the acquisition phase offshore to advanced inversion schemes running on our Linux cluster. The Software Group at our main office in Trondheim is developing and maintaining our software. We are now looking for software engineers to strengthen the team.
Geoscientist / Senior Geoscientist in Brazil
In response to our growing business activities, we have a Geoscientist opening in our Rio de Janeiro office. The Geoscientist position is part of the Geology and Geophysics team and focuses on processing, modeling and inversion of marine electromagnetic (EM) data with our proprietary 3D EM software. The EM data are integrated with seismic and well logs to produce an improved geological interpretation of the subsurface and reduce drilling risk.
