The group is dedicated to the completion of commercial projects from survey planning to integrated interpretation of CSEM data, with a strong focus on client interaction and collaboration.

Senior Scientist
Main focus
We have an opening in the Research group based in our global head office in Trondheim, Norway. The group is part of the G&G Solutions department and focuses on R&D of new methods for processing, modeling and inversion of marine EM data and integration with other geophysical data. The successful candidate will be part of an interdisciplinary team of physicists, geoscientists and software engineers providing new technology and solutions to our G&G production teams in Norway and overseas. The position requires some international travel.

Explorationists - oil finders
Trondheim - Oslo - Stavanger - Kuala Lumpur - Houston
EMGS is the market leader in a young and dynamic industry. We have developed and patented our marine EM technology, which is seen as the best in the industry.
EMGS' technology is changing how oil and gas operators are searching for hydrocarbons in frontier and mature offshore basins. We acquire 3D EM and marine magnetotelluric data, which we use to assess formation resistivity before drilling, and interpret and integrate this information with other geo-data to aid exploration decision making. 3D EM data is routinely used for lead generation, prospect ranking and volume assessments.
Main focus
We are looking for skilled explorationists and oil finders who can integrate and interpret geophysical and geological datasets, and make decisions and recommendations based on this work. We need people who can work with us to help our clients incorporate EM data into their workflows and get full value from our measurements. Positions are available in Trondheim, Oslo and Stavanger, Norway; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; and Houston, USA.
